Can Mombasa Governor Joho Save Diamond and Zari’s Union?

Mombasa Governor Hassan Ali Joho is known to have connections with several music artists.

Chris Brown’s performance last year in October is one example of how well connected the Mombasa governor is with renowned musicians.

However, former Senator Hassan Omar has been a strong critic of the Governor over the usage of county resources which he believes could have been focused towards “more serious matters”.

Surprisingly, Omar took to twitter in what may have been seen as a cheeky jibe, to ask Joho to ‘intervene’ in the ongoing marital feud between Bongo artist Diamond Platinumz and his baby mama Zari Hassan.

“This Zari/Diamond stuff might require some ‘high level’ intervention from Mombasa. Bro, it’s getting out of hand,” he wrote in a tweet.

Diamond and Zari sent the media into a frenzy following news of Diamonds affair with Tanzanian model-cum-video vixen Hamisa Mobetto with whom he sired a child.

According to Diamond he is willing to do anything possible to get Zari to forgive him.

“All i want is too ask my partner, Zari Hassan, for forgiveness, and all the people that were offended by my actions. I am ready to walk on my knees to South Africa to plead with Zari to forgive me,” Diamond said.
