Joseph Kori, husband of brutally murdered Mary Wambui Kamangara is attending her burial.

Ms Kamangara is said to have been killed by Kori’s mistress, Judy Wangui at her Four Ways Junction rented apartment on January 26.

Her body would a day later be found in Juja. An autopsy report shows that the deceased died of strangulation and a head injury.

The burial is underway at the Mweiga Airstrip, Nyeri County.

Kori was released last week after police could not find evidence tying him to the murder.

In custody are Wangui and her alleged accomplice, Michael Githae.

The latter is a taxi driver who was hired by Wangui to help move the body.
