Julie Gichuru had an embarrassing moment after she was called out for misquoting CNN’s business presenter Richard Quest.
Richard Quest has been in Nairobi for the Quest Means Business show which was meant to go live from Kenya today but had to be cancelled after the bomb scare in the USA.
Quest is also set to be joining passengers on the inaugural Kenya Airways flight to New York on Sunday, October 28.
Julie posted a photo of the CNN journalist visiting the Marula Manor with a caption of Quest praising the Kenyan service Industry.
Mr Quest was quick to correct Julie that even though he was enjoying his stay in Kenya, he had not said those words.
Julie took to her Twitter to issue an apology for the misquote.
“Correction to my earlier post. Nice pic and sentiment but NOT a QUOTE. Delighted that Richard is having a good visit.” she said.
