Former Gor Mahia left back Karim Niziyimana has joined Ugandan champions Vipers SC on a two-year contract, according to Kahawa Tungu sources.
The 29-year-old Burundian skipper was a free agent after seeing out his contract with Gor Mahia in January this year.
The move was slowed down by delay in getting the ITC from the Football Kenya Federation but that has since been sorted and he’s poised to be unveiled any time soon.
Karim joined K’Ogalo in 2015 from Rwandan side Rayon Sports, winning the Kenyan Premier League the same season unbeaten.

A long term injury, however, slowed down his final season with the record Kenyan champions but he managed to shake it off and continued to play albeit sparingly.
Karim will link up with his former teammate at Gor Mahia, Innocent Wafula, who joined the Venoms recently and scored his first goal on Tuesday.
Vipers are currently coached by Kenyan Michael Nam. The team is second in the Ugandan Premier League log, three points off leaders KCCA.
