
Nimrod Mbai, Kitui East Mp has apologized to his county governor, Charity Ngilu over ‘call for abuse’ comments made in August during a political rally.
He said: ”Charity Ngilu should be sexually abused in her office if she doesn’t drop her hard political stance against Uhuru Kenyatta.”
Speaking to a local radio station on Wednesday, the Jubilee Mp expressed regret over the distasteful remarks noting that he holds Ms Ngilu in high regard.

“Ngilu is like my mother and I have always admired her leadership. I regret those remarks and ask her for forgiveness; please don’t be offended,” said Mbai.
The newly elected legislator also vowed to work closely with the county boss who’s development record is beyond reproach.
He also pointed out that he would, come 2022 support Ngilu’s re-election bid.
The Governor has however kept mum about the issue.
