    KPA and Equity Bank Ladies Basketball Fly Kenya’s Flag High In The Regional Championships

    Kenya Ports Authority (KPA) and Equity bank’s basketball teams emerged champions and runners up in the just concluded Zone five championship that took place in Kampala, Uganda.

    The two top tier ladies teams represented the country well thrashing teams from arch rivals Uganda,Tanzania and Rwanda

    Kenya Ports Authority emerged the zone 5 champions after beating Equity bank Hawks in an all Kenyan finale. KPA redeemed themselves after slipping to Uganda Christian college and loosing with half a basket.

    In the Mens category KPA emerged third after beating Betway Power of Uganda.

    Kenya National team Point Guard Natalie Akinyi emerged as the most valuable player in the tournament. She was also the best point guard in the region

    Victor Wanyama’s sister Mercy Wanyama was named Best forward in the region.
