The reputation of city lawyer and LSK council member candidate Harriet Chiggai may hang on the balance after a discovery that she may have an affair with deceased KRA officer Jared Ratemo
According to Jared Ratemo’s widow she discovered the affair between her husband and Miss Chiggai though a text message that her husband had sent to her.
She said she had confronted her husband who confessed of the affair and had promised to end it two months before his demise.

The family of Jared Ratemo accused Harriet Chiggia of being a gold digger who was after his money and gifts.
Police say that the KRA officer’s murder must have been as a result of a love triangle gone sour. His highly disfigured corpse was found along Mombasa road and his genitals were extremely mutilated. Police suggest that the murderers must have been persons well known to the deceased.
Harriet Chiggia has through out the controversial LSK campaign period carried herself as ‘clean’ and this new discovery may taint her image.
She might be forced to step down if linked to the murder as council members are regarded to have high moral standards.
