    Man collapses and dies in bar in Narok

    Police are investigating an incident where a man collapsed and died in a bar in Transmara, Narok County.

    According to the police, Lawrence Leperes, 35 was having drinks in the bar when he collapsed and died. A friend who had been at the joint escaped. Two attendants at the bar were detained pending investigations as the body was moved to the mortuary following the Friday incident.

    In Musoli, Kakamega County, a woman was found dead after suspected murder in her house.

    The body of one Mercela Khayenje, 63 was found naked on her bed after an attack.

    She also had injuries on the mouth.

    The woman had just arrived home when she was attacked and killed. No arrests were made by Saturday following her murder. Police moved the body to the mortuary pending an autopsy and other procedures.

    In Makuyu, Murang’a County, one Wilson Kori Mwaniki aged 43 was found dead on the floor of his house.

    The cause of the death was not immediately known and the body was moved to the mortuary pending an autopsy, police said.

    In Mwitseshe, Kakamega County, a fight between neighbors turned tragic after one of them was fatally injured.

    Police said Peter Moris Ochieng, 56 who worked as a farmhand in the area died in hospital Thursday after the fight.

    The assailants escaped the scene after learning about the death.

    Police said they are looking for the suspects. The body was moved to the mortuary pending an autopsy.

    In Anabkoi, Uasin Gishu County, two construction workers died after falling from a high rise building.

    The two were among a group of masons who were at the site when the tragedy happened, police said.

    Police said the incident happened after a ladder the group was using collapsed and tumbled them to the ground.

    One Joseph Kadogi, 40 and his colleague Walter Imboza, 35 succumbed to the injuries in hospital.

    Police said they are investigating the incident.

    The bodies were preserved at a local mortuary pending an autopsy.
