Marjorie Dias de Oliveira, professionally known as Marjorie Estiano, is a Brazilian actress and singer-songwriter born on March 8, 1982, in Curitiba, Paraná, Brazil.
She grew up as the second child in a family of three siblings, with parents Eurandir Lima de Oliveira and Marilene Dias guiding her early life.
Estiano pursued her passion for the arts from a young age, studying Scenic Arts at the Escola Estadual do Paraná and later dedicating two years to music studies at the Faculdade Paulista de Artes in São Paulo.
After honing her skills, she relocated to São Paulo and eventually Rio de Janeiro, where she attended the TV Globo Actor’s Workshop, marking the beginning of her professional journey in entertainment.

Estiano’s career took off in the early 2000s with her breakthrough role as Natasha in the popular teen soap opera Malhação on TV Globo, where she appeared from 2004 to 2006 after starting with smaller parts in 2003.
She quickly transitioned to leading roles in telenovelas, portraying complex characters like Marina in Páginas da Vida in 2006, the vengeful protagonist Maria Paula in Duas Caras from 2007 to 2008, and Tônia in Caminho das Índias in 2009.
Her versatility shone in subsequent projects, including Manuela in A Vida da Gente in 2011, the determined Laura in Lado a Lado from 2012 to 2013, the antagonistic Cora in Império from 2014 to 2015, and the dedicated doctor Carolina Alencar in the medical drama Sob Pressão, which ran from 2017 to 2021 and spawned a film adaptation in 2016.
Estiano also ventured into miniseries, playing Angélica in Eu Que Amo Tanto in 2014, Mariana in Ligações Perigosas in 2016, Ruth in Fim in 2023, and she is set to portray Ângela Diniz in the upcoming Ângela Diniz: Assassinada e Condenada in 2025.
