Nominated MCA, Catherine Opiyo disrupted the press briefing called by a sector of MCA’s to issue statements on various issues going on in the county government.

Ms Opiyo asked the journalists to go away saying that there was nothing to be discussed.

Nairobi West MCA, Morrris Garri was in the process of making a statement asking for swift action against the clerk and other members implicated of corruption when this happened.

This brought a confrontation between the members as MCAs tried to hold back Mr Garri so he does not hit Ms Opiyo.

“Jaribu uone. Utajua hii mwili iko na insurance,” Mr Opiyo daunted.

The MCAs were calling for action to be taken against the County Clerk and some of the board members who have been implicated in corruption cases.

The MCAs want the clerk to be impeached.
