ODM Kajiado Central Mp, Elijah Memusi is a man afraid for his life following threats from a government official.
Memusi has accused Kajiado County Commissioner Harmasa Kello of sending him threatening text messages.
Speaking outside the Parliament Police Station after recording a statement, the legislator said Kello had hired hit men to kill him.
”Kello instructed an officer to trail me in Nairobi and shoot me. The information is with the police. This information is from a confidential source, and we are asking the police to quickly investigate this matter.”

He accused the government official of using county funds to ‘enrich himself’ over the 15 years he has been in office.
“Mr Kello has overstayed in Kajiado. He has abused his office by grabbing tracts of land in the county to develop himself,” the Mp said.
The Kajiado Mp also noted that they (Maa leaders) will not be cowed by the Jubilee government’s intimidation tactics in their fight to liberate their people.
