Suspect in Shron Otieno’s murder and Migori Governor Okoth Obado’s personal assistant, Michael Oyamo has been denied bail.
Resident Magistrate Lester Simiyu has ordered that Oyamo remains in police custody until Tuesday when he will be charged.
Oyamo, through his lawyers asked the court to grant him freedom as the prosecution sought to have the former military man locked up till Monday.
The suspect also told the Homa Bay court that the police illegally extracted DNA samples.
