The Nairobi county Secretary Peter Kariuki has been arrested under unclear circumstances. He was arrested at the county offices by police.
He was taken to the Milimani Law courts and later presented before Justice Chacha Mwita. It is still unclear what charges he was arrested for. Police said that they were effecting a warrant of arrest.
