Nairobi MCAs Cause A Scene At JKIA After Ziwani Representative Blocked From Boarding Flight

Nairobi County ward representative on Monday night caused drama at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA).

The scuffle was between a Fly540 attendant and the honourable members. The attendant, one MCA said was arrogant and very verbal.

The MCAs were headed to Mombasa for an investor meeting which they said would be beneficial to the youths, orphans.

Speaking at JKIA, one member said that their flight had been delayed due to engine failure and one of them, Ziwani’s Millicent Wambui Mugadi was also running late.

The 15 members of the county assembly are said to have tried forcing the attendant admit Ms Mugadi.

Ms Mugadi who escaped death by a whisker on April 10, 2017 in an accident involving a saloon car and a lorry in Gilgil along the Nakuru-Nairobi highway has metal plates in her hand and leg, and could therefore not board the flight.

The attendant, the Ziwani MCA said harassed and called her names.
