NASA Leaders kicked out of Nkaissery rural home

The family of the late Interior Cabinet Secretary Joseph Nkaissery is barring politicians allied to the opposition NASA from accessing the rural home of the late cabinet secretary.

Kajiado Governor David Nkaidenye, Kajiado Central MP Elija Memusi both allied to ODM and Wiper Kajiado Women Rep aspirant Simaiya Rakita were among leaders stopped from entering the home. Former Kenya Meat Commission Chairman Taraiya Ole Kores, who was endorsed by Gen. Nkaissery to vie for governor of Kajiado but lost to Joseph Ole Lenku and defected to the opposition, was also barred.

Governor Nkaidenye and MP Memusi are said to have had an altercation with the CS weeks before he died over comments the CS allegedly made to the effect that all seats in Kajiado will be won by the Jubilee ‘at all costs’. The two had interpreted the comments to mean the CS planned to eliminate them, accusations that didn’t go well with Gen. Nkaissery.

Meanwhile, funeral arrangements for the late CS are on top gear and the government has appointed Dr. Cleophas Mailu, Cabinet Secretary for Health, to head the committee.
