Heavily armed police officers raided the Ngirita family Lakeview, Naivasha home on Sunday at around 7 p.m.
10 officers reportedly from Nairobi and Nakuru are said to have broken down the gate before opening up manholes and sewer lines.
Relatives present during the raid said that the men looked like they were looking for a particular thing and further divulged that the officers did not have with them a search warrant.
A local daily reports that the officers went from one manhole to the other as they tried to gain entry into the main house.
“There was no search warrant. We came to learn from neighbours that the officers were already in the compound and we suspect something sinister,” a relative told the daily.
The men are said to have left in a hurry after the relatives contacted the local police and their lawyers.
