    Governor Obado Arrested Over 8 Guns Recovered In His Homes

    Governor Okoth Obado has been arrested.

    The embattled Migori governor had his Nairobi and Migori homes raided on Tuesday morning by EACC detectives.

    The sleuths are said to have recovered 8 guns, five at his Lavington home and three in Moigori.

    Officers were in search of crucial documents linking him to the embezzlement of Sh2 billion from the county government coffers.

    DCI had earlier on stated that the guns would be subjected to ballistic examination and verification to establish whether they were licensed to be own by him.
