PLO Lumumba has written to transport CS James Macharia seeking to partner with the ministry to bring sanity to the Kenyan roads.  He has volunteered to work with the transport  ministry in an operation dabbed ‘Operation Restore Sanity on our roads’

He said that the Matatu and boda boda culture within the CBD affects the economy negatively and that the ministry should strive to correct the mistake.

Lumumba asserted that licensed road users were being forced to use the same highway as unlicensed persons and that was the major cause of indiscipline on Kenyan roads.

The advocate also said that the the lack of enforcement of rules was cause of absurdities on the roads which have since been normalized.

He copied the Nairobi governor, the IG Joseph Boinnet and the National transport and safety Authourity director general Francis Mejja.

PLO Lumumba who is known for his mastery of the English language recently left the helm of Kenya school of law after he refused to renew his term.  He appeared in court representing IEBC chairman Wafula Chebukati in the elections that were nullified.
