NASA leader Raila Odinga has called off the demonstrations that were to take place on October 26.In a rally at Kamukunji grounds the NASA leader had stated that there will be a grand demonstration by NASA on the purported election day
The NASA candidate who has since withdrawn his candidature from the presidential elections citing lack of reforms to issues that led to the nullification of the August 8 polls by the supreme court.

NASA during the celebration of Mashujaa day in Bondo said that the supporters should wait for a major announcement that will happen on October 25.
Raila Odinga has now asked the supporters not to demonstrate on the said date.The government through CS Matiang’i has said any major meeting by NASA is illegal as the campaign period according to the Elections Act has already lapsed.
