NASA leaders, Raila Odinga and Kalonzo Musyoka will be sworn in as the People’s President and the deputy people’s President respectively at the end of the month (30 January) at Uhuru Park.

NASA CEO, Norman Magaya told Citizen that: ”The train has left the station. We are determined to pay the ultimate price to ensure that the power of the vote is restored in this country.”

The duo was meant to take the oath in December but postponed the plans after wide national and international consultations.

The opposition leaders will in a week’s time roll out their plan on how to handle President Uhuru Kenyatta’s government which has declined to hold talks on matters ‘electoral reforms.’

NASA will allegedly name a parallel cabinet, announce a series of mass action and expand the list of products and services to be boycotted all in a bid to force the Jubilee leadership to the negotiating table.

Siaya Senator James Orengo has asked their (NASA) supporters to be patient because Odinga will take oath of office when the time comes.

”This is the year of change in Kenya and change will not be realized when Raila takes the oath office as the President of Kenya,” Orengo said.
