The NGO Board on Friday registered Team Mafisi as a foundation headed by comedian, Wilson Muirani alias Jaymo Ule Msee.
Speaking to Nairobi News after its registration, Wilson said that the foundation will focus on the youth and getting them to engage in programs that will positively impact their lives.
”The foundation will be a way of creating a platform for members to positively engage in socioeconomic empowerment programs for the youth all across the country.”

Jaymo noted that the foundation would teach cohesion, and help nature talents through programs that he says will be rolled out in the coming weeks.
Asked why he chose ‘Team Mafisi,’ Mr Muirani said: ”Every young Kenyan behaves like a ‘fisi’ in order to survive. They have to wait for the bigger man to hunt and eat what has been left. We want to eliminate that and make sure that everyone survives out there. Don’t get the name wrong, we are here to do good work.”
