US To Support Kenya As It Prepares For Fresh Round Of Polls

USUS Ambassador to Kenya Robert Godec has said that his country is committed to support Kenya during this process of reaffirming its democracy.

He stated that the ruling made by the Supreme Court judges was indeed Historical and an example to Africa and the world.

He said he trusts the ability of Kenyans to express their democratic right and urged the commission to prepare itself to deliver a free, fair and peaceful process.

Godec says that as partners of the country their commitment to build Kenya is still intact.

The Supreme Court nullified the Re-election of President Uhuru Kenyatta based on technicalities that occurred during the election process.
