Konza Technology City has been drawing comments lately. Many have been inspired by the idea and even Rwanda, Uganda and Tanzania have all decided to copy the idea though they don’t have as much info as the Kenyans. The Kenyan model has been marketed in Italy, Germany, USA, China and even India and part of the infrastructure in the phase one of development might be fully booked in the next 2 months.
Out of the 12 hotels which are suppose to built in the city, nine have been fully booked. The Konza Technology City will surely change the country. It will be run under the Konza Technology City Authority, a parastatal to be created and this will help see the continuity of the project and non-interference by the politicians.
