Tanzania’s movie star Wema Sepetu has just suffered a major loss after her lipstick brand was banned by the Tanzanian Bureau of standards(TBS).
The lipstick which she launched while celebrating her 26th birthday way back in 2015 is said to have been found unfit for human consumption by TBS
The product seemed to have been doing well as the model had revealed earlier that it brought her a lot of profit.
However it was also revealed recently that her lipstick dubbed “Kiss” has been missing at various shopping centers across Tanzania.The government of Tanzania led by the standard watchdog TBS and Tanzania Food and Drug Authority is said to have banned the product and therefore will not be sold anymore.

When reached for comment,Ms Sepetu’s manager Mr Martin Kadinda confirmed that their last stock was finished and the business is over.
