Deputy President William Ruto has warned IEBC chairman against side shows and letters. He said that Wafula Chebukati should ensure that Kenyans go to the ballot on October 17.

He insisted that the Jubilee party was not going to take part in the Chebukati jokes as they want Kenyans to democratically choose their leaders.

Senate Majority Leader Kipchumba Murkomen reiterated the DP’s sentiments saying that if the IEBC chairman changed the election date, ‘the jubilee party will take one  million people to his office.’ He also said that the letters by Chebukati were contrary to the constitution.

Raphael Tuju also shared the sentiments of his party leaders saying that the commission should not be discordant as  it is left with only 39 days to the election.

He asked the chairman to put his house in order order as they were the most indicted by their supreme court.
