    Woman Who Gave Birth To Quintuplets Dies In Eldoret

    A woman who gave birth to Quintuplets has died at the Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital (MTRH) where she was admitted with her children.

    The 28-year-old Evelyn Namukhula reportedly complained of chest pains at around 10pm Saturday.

    Ms Namukhula gave birth through Caesarean Section at Kakamega General Hospital on March 13, 2019.

    She was later transferred to MTRH after one of the children developed complications.

    “My baby had trouble breathing and doctors at the Kakamega General Hospital decided to move us here (MTRH) so that the baby could get the help he needs,” she told a local media outlet before her death.

    Two of her kids have also been reported dead.

    Namukhula and her husband Herbert Wawire who had four other children, have a total of nine children now.
