    Activist Okiya Omtatah Moves To Court Over KIEMs Kits

    Activist Okiya Omtatah has taken the IEBC to court over the commission’s decision to re configure the KIEMs Kits as opposed to purchasing new ones.He said that the re configuration option was unconstitutional.

    The activist said that re configuring the KIEMs Kit will destroy the data that was uploaded during the August polls.He said that the IEBC has an obligation to protect all election materials and data.

    Okiya Omtatah said that the data should be preserved because the public may need it  for the purposes of determining credibility of the election process.

    He has gone to court to seek an order to stop the IEBC from publicly declaring that they will re configure the KIEMs kits.
