    Kondele Residents Light Bonfires To Demand Release Of Miguna

    Youth in Kisumu have lit bonfires at the the famous Kondele to demand the government to release Miguna Miguna.

    One of the residents said that the governments should respect the Rule Of Law.

    ‘Hatutaki Mchezo, No Miguna No peace,’ some of the demonstrators were heard chanting.

    Kondele residents have said that they do not understand why Miguna is being listed as an adult male without documentation yet they believe he is Kenyan.

    They have threatened to set the cells on fire if Miguna is not released from the JKIA.

    Miguna has been at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport since Monday when he arrived. He refused to board a flight to Dubai without his Canadian passport. He presented his valid Kenyan Identification card and insisted the he was Kenyan and was not going anywhere
