Former media personality Esther Arunga is stated to have appeared bewitched a few days before the death of her son in Australia.

According to a witness, who appeared before the court, Ms Arunga seemed bewitched and was making comments about zombies invading the world and eating people.

Testifying in Brisbane magistrates court in a hearing against Esther’s husband, Quincy Timberlake, Christina Caroll informed the court of the happenings.

“She talked about voodoo and other occult stuff, it was crazy,” Call mentioned to the court stating that she got the information from Timberlake.

Ms Caroll further revealed that she noticed “straight line cuts” on Sinclair’s forehead a day or two after Ms Arunga and the son returned to Australia from visiting Timberlake in Singapore.

“To me, it looked like he’d been cut with a razor or a knife,” she told the court.

Upon inquiring what happened to the boy, Arunga stated that Sinclair had fallen, however, Caroll who is a medic with 25 years’ experience believed the wounds had been inflicted.

Another witness, Gertrude Marutawana, said she observed “quite a number” of criss-cross scars on Sinclair’s back during a visit to Timberlake’s home.

Ms Marutawana said Ms Arunga told her she had been accused of being a witch in Kenya and as punishment they had beaten her son.

It is further recorded that several other witnesses gave evidence that raises concerns on Timberlake’s mental health after his arrival in Australia.

The hearing of the case has been scheduled for next week on Tuesday.
