Lawyer Otiende Amollo has launched a scathing attack on interior CS Matiang’i who said that the Judiciary had a clique of ‘evil’ judicial officers who were under the mercy lawyers and civil society organizations.

The lawyer called the CS a convict who did not have any legal standing to judge a judge. Otiende Amollo said that the utterances by the CS were stage managed attempts to try and sanitize impunity and illegality.

Someone tell Matiangi that a Convict Does NOT Judge the Judge! And Stage-Managed attempts to sanitize Acts Of Illegality & Impunity by the Parliamentary Committee are of No Moment to the Judicial Process !

    — Otiende Amollo, SC,MP, EBS (@OAmollo) April 4, 2018

CS Matiang’i  had said that Miguna Miguna and his lawyers were being dishonest and when swearing in about the whereabouts of the lawyers passports . He said that the judicial officers were being illegally controlled by these unscrupulous clique of lawyers.

Nelson Havi who is also part of Miguna’s Legal team said that the law society of Kenya should put their foot down about the attack on lawyers and Judges saying that the CS was out of order.

Good morning @LSKPresident. CS Matiang’i was on a rampage yesterday before the Parliamentary Committee, vilifying and threatening Judges and Lawyers for doing their work properly. Could @lawsocietykenya stamp its authority on the issue and restore order.

Both lawyers were part of the legal team for the Canadian based lawyer and have been on the forefront in defending the deportation of Miguna insisting that he was a Kenyan citizen by birth and his constitutional rights were being violated.
