Chief Administrative Secretary (CAS) for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ababu Namwamba was on Wednesday trolled for donning an all denim outfit on an official visit to South Africa.
The ever dapper CAS was representing President Uhuru Kenyatta in Pretoria.
Critics noted that Namwamba stepped out looking like the Congolese Soukous maestro Awilo Longomba.
Unfazed, the former legislator was quick to note that “I travel easy, and dress smart for officials.”
The denim look, he said, was “dope.”
“Just got to love KOT, don’t you! Enjoyed this “Ababu-Terrah clad” brouhaha amidst the bustle of preparing to return home from representing my boss, my President in Pretoria. On dress code thingie, I travel easy, and dress smart for officials. Denim is dope. Thaz my style buddiez!” he wrote on social media.

Namwamba, always one with impeccable fashion sense, took his time to explain his diverse looks for various occasions.
