An Administration Police (AP) officer who killed his lover on Thursday under unclear circumstances has been arrested.
Patrick Nyapara was apprehended ass he tried to sneak into Uganda on Saturday afternoon.
According to Western Regional commander Rashid Yakub, the suspect who mans the IEBC offices in Navakholo, will be arraigned in court once investigations into the matter are complete.
Nyapara is said to have shot Christine Maonga three times at their Duka Moja estate home, killing her on the spot.
The deceased, was not his wife but the two have a three year old daughter.

Maonga, 24, was a Literature teacher at Navakholo Secondary School.
A postmortem will be conducted on Monday.
