Foreign Correspondents’ Association of East Africa (FCAEA) representing journalists covering the region for foreign media organisations has rebuked the recent expulsion of two of its members from South Sudan. Four City Hall employees were on Wednesday charged with creating disturbance at Integrity Centre during Governor Mike Sonko’s interrogation. University of Nairobi (UoN) lecturer, Hannah Inyama who kept her dead son’s body in the house for close to two weeks is not fit to stand trial, a court was told. According to an investigating officer who appeared before Makadara chief magistrate Heston Nyaga, the don is not mentally stable to stand trial in her teenage son’s murder case. Cash strapped Mumias Sugar has sent packing all its employees, a month after being placed under receivership.
