Confirming the details was his lawyer Hillary Sigei who noted that the Turk was deported via Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA). Turkish national Harun Aydin who was part of Deputy President William Ruto’s entourage to Uganda is being held by Immigration, DCI officers at Wilson Airport. The foreigner was detained after landing in Nairobi from Uganda. Immigration officials said they wanted to question Aydin about his work permit, immigration status and his businesses in the region. An autopsy report has indicated that Philomena Njeri, the woman allegedly shot by her husband was not pregnant. Earlier reports indicated that the deceased was fatally shot by her spouse, Jonathan Mukundi, after he found out that she was pregnant with her lover’s child. But according to government pathologist Dr Johansen Oduor, Njeri, 30, was not pregnant at the time of her death. President Yoweri Museveni’s National Resistance Movement (NRM) has hit back at Suna East MP Junet Mohammed and ODM MPs. The incarcerated former head of state was taken to a facility outside the Estcourt Correctional Centre where he has been serving his 15-month jail term. A senior police officer attached to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs was on Thursday evening involved in an accident along Lang’ata Road. In a police report seen by Kahawa Tungu, the officer identified as Zackary King’ori Mwangi was driving on the wrong side of the road heading towards Karen. The remains of a Kenyan man living in the United States have been discovered at his residence in Joplin, Missouri. Christopher Njuguna Mungai’s decomposing remains were found in his rented apartment. A man and his wife were on Tuesday evening found dead in what police suspect to be a murder/suicide. Jonathan Mukundi Gachunga, a licensed firearm holder is suspected to have killed his 30-year-old wife, Philomena Njeri, at their Kirigiti home in Kiambu county.
