Kenyan businessmen Joe Wanjui and James Muguiyi have pocketed at least Ksh3.2 billion from the sale of combined six percent stake UAP Holdings to South Africa’s Old Mutual Holdings. The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) has denied DCI report that hackers stole personal details of 61,000 voters. In a statement, the commission chair Wafula Chebukati said the voters register is secure and is not linked to open internet. The body of missing Kikuyu musician has been found floating at the crocodile infested Masinga dam in Embu County. Edward Irungu Njaro alias Wanjaro Junior is believed to have taken his own life by jumping into the dam. The United Nations Children’s Emergency Fund (UNICEF) has weighed in on the kidnapping and killing of children in Nairobi and around the country. Whatsapp has started rolling out its multidevice capability on beta. The feature enables users to access the messaging app from up to four multiple devices even when the primary smartphone is off or offline. The update enables WhatsApp users for the first time to use the service on up to four nonphone devices without having the registered phone switched on or otherwise connected to the internet.
