Three individuals of Kenyan descent were among the 26 people who were killed in an attack in southern Somalia. According to the Juba Land State President Ahmed Madobe, the attack has left at least 56 others injured. He noted that three Kenyans and three Tanzanians were among those who died during the attack. The High Court has ordered United States International University-Africa (USIU-A) to pay city lawyer Paul Ndung’u Ksh152 million for firing him. The Kenyatta National Hospital (KNH) is an institution under fire following the revelation that eleven newborn babies died from what is suspected to be a bacterium infection known as Klebsiella.
