The Directorate of Criminal Investigation (DCI) has been forced to  reveal what they do with the bales of narcotics that they always seize. Detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) on Monday evening seized 135 bales of bhang in Nakuru. According to the DCI, the detectives found the narcotic drugs in a lorry. Following the seizure, detectives arrested a 27-year-old Hassan Ali, who was driving the lorry. The suspect is expected to be arraigned in court on Tuesday. Kapseret MP and Deputy President William Ruto’s ally Oscar Sudi has warned Homa Bay Woman Representative Gladys Wanga against politicizing the gold scandal. The Kenya Bureau of Standards (Kebs) has announced a ban over the importation of used car parts on Monday. In a notice sent out to pre-shipment cargo inspectors, the agency affirmed that a specified 17 categories of second-hand spare parts have been banned from entry into the country. According to KEBs, the ban is a poly shift aimed to facilitate the extinction of used car parts in the market. Two people have been killed on Monday morning after a lorry transporting miraa collided with a matatu. The accident took place along Mwea-Embu road in Kirinyaga County. According to eye-witnesses, two lorries were overtaking each other at Nyamindi area which eventually caused the accident. The High Court has released 38 Kenya Revenue Authorities (KRA) employees held over tax evasion. Milimani Senior Resident Magistrate Edna Mayova released the suspects on a cash bail of Ksh200,000. According to the detectives, the suspect Kelson Lienga alias Kevin Lienga is noted to have been involved in a series of crimes, including one which he chopped off the leg of his victims.
