A 24-year old female warder at Muranga GK Prison was found dead in her house on Wednesday morning. According to reports, Pauline Wangari, was found lifeless with several wounds on the head and chest in her rental house at Kiharu estate. Pauline’s mysterious death has happened barely a month since her colleague from Nakuru GK Prison warder Caroline Jepchirchir was also found dead. Real Estate moguls Peter and Sue Muraya’s houses in Lavington worth Ksh384 million have been put up for auction. In an auction notice, a bank has invited potential buyers of the estate to attend a fire sale. The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) has on Tuesday morning gunned down a man suspected to be an armed thug in Nakuru. In a statement issued, the DCI noted that five other accomplice of the shot thug escaped after detectives pursued them. The government of Kenya has suspended direct flights from Somali’s capital Mogadishu to Nairobi over security concerns. In a report announced by BBC, the flights had been suspended and the planes will now first have to land in Wajir for security checks before proceeding to Nairobi. It is alleged that the decision to suspend the flights was politically motivated. A middle-aged man’s body has been recovered from Ngong’ River on Saturday by Nairobi County workers. The body which was found during the cleanup of the river was discovered near Kware Ward in Embakasi South.
