Despite causing his own self-inflicted political disasters severally, Raila Odinga is such a transformational figure but with certain degree of conventional mind. His democratic political reforms credentials have had significant consequential to the country. The country has made every turn he makes. The rudderless conservative right wing of securocrats, media, politics and business unrelentingly loathe. This wing, which is offspring of the old corrupt dictatorial KANU rule), casts him as violent figure. Yet it rides on his critical policy decisions to make headways on anything. His policy decisions are made for the best interest of the majority population. Look at…

Something is funny in what I am seeing. Sonko always walk armed with two guns (pistols) on his waist. Now it is emerging that the controversial Nairobi Senator is walking around with bodyguards armed with AK-47s. Why? Is there some dirty business warranting this? Our own President is not doing this so it is a big surprise to see a mere Senator walk around with such security while other Kenyans continue to suffer the insecurity. Check the photos below.
President Uhuru seems to have been angered by the move by his security to allow someone to try to grab his hand leading an injury on him. The President who seemed to have been overruling his security is seen on a video throwing slaps at someone who is just in the midst of his closest protection personnel. It is not clear what the President wanted but the President is seen being comforted by his deputy as he dismisses the staffer. Sources within the President’s protection unit however say that President Uhuru wanted the security to allow the man to greet…

The uproar follows revelations that Miss Mandii assaulted Anita at a staff team-building retreat at one of the Fairmont facilities. The cheaply…

The Cabinet Secretary in charge of Interior Coordination is the man in charge of all aspects of our security. The man has all state machinery at his disposal to ensure our safety. Well, he seems to have achieved everything as now he is concentrating in organising ‘the biggest’ welcome party for President Uhuru Kenyatta. The President who was attending the ICC Status Conference regarding his case in the same court, is expected to land at JKIA from 8AM. The President will then pass through Nairobi hoping to see the biggest cheering crowd along the way. It will be a disappointment…

Trouble and distrust is brewing in between the regular and administration police units of Kenya Police Service. The latest wrangle is over the manner in which regular police officers shot and killed an administration police (AP) who was just from dropping an MP he escorted to the airport. The officer was apparently shot after a barmaid spotted him carrying a Ceska pistol on his waist thinking that he was a robber. Policemen who were called to the scene immediately opened fire killing Corporal Joseph Obong’o Makori and his cousin dead. Now police officers have taken to social media to protest…
Despite the government denying that the officials in Hague went on their own, evidence emerge that this is a government sponsored and sanctioned trip. Why would the Ministry of Foreign Affairs write to the Dutch embassy requesting for Visa for people it doesn’t sponsor? What does the government gain from the presence of people like Paul Kobia and others. See this list Meanwhile, President Uhuru was at the JKIA “as a civilian” checking through. Seem him relaxed in the KQ lounge.
