A gun holder shot and wounded himself as he argued with a security guard at the Hilton Hotel barrier, Nairobi. Police said Robert Kiptoo is a licensed gun holder. Kiptoo had on November 17 at about 8 pm approached a barrier outside the Hilton Hotel along City Hall Way demanding to use it to enter the premises. A gun holder was arrested and disarmed after he shot and wounded two people in an argument over a debt in Kiserian, Kajiado County. Police said businessman Godfrey Kumoi Ntapaiyia, 54 is a businessman in the area. He shot and wounded his two friends on Sunday November 17 evening in a disagreement over a longstanding debt. The argument escalated into a physical confrontation, before the gunman pulled the trigger, resulting in injuries the two. Sean “Diddy” Combs has been breaking prison rules by contacting potential witnesses in his upcoming sex trafficking trial, prosecutors have alleged. The music mogul is accused of making “relentless efforts” to “corruptly influence witness testimony”, by using other inmates’ telephone accounts, and using three-way calls to speak to people who are not on his approved contacts list. Prosecutors said a review of recorded calls also found that Mr Combs instructed his family to contact potential witnesses in his case, they said in a court filing. President-elect Donald Trump has nominated former congressman and Fox Business host Sean Duffy to lead the Department of Transportation. President-elect Donald Trump has confirmed on his social media network that he plans to use the US military to carry out a mass deportation of undocumented migrants.  On Monday, he posted “TRUE!!!” in response to a conservative commentator who wrote that Trump would declare a national emergency and use military assets to lead “a mass deportation program”. A University student was Monday charged at the Milimani Law Courts with publishing false information.  He did this by posting an image of a funeral procession featuring a casket covered with the Kenyan flag escorted by military officers in ceremonial uniform. The court heard that David Oaga Mokaya shared the said image on his X account, “Landlord @bozgabi,” with the caption suggesting it showed President William Ruto’s body being transported. The Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) has summoned Moi University Vice-Chancellor, Professor Isaac Kosgei, in connection with allegations of embezzlement involving Sh2,189,659,497.88. The funds were reportedly siphoned through fraudulent infrastructural projects. Alongside Professor Kosgei, three other senior officials—Chief Accountant Egla Samoei, Head of Procurement Wilson Bett, and Head of the Development Unit Moses Kipkulei—have also been summoned to aid in the investigation. The EACC, through spokesperson Eric Ngumbi, disclosed that Professor Kosgei faces additional charges of obstructing investigations. A corporal of police was found dead after he shot himself in the chin in a suicide mission at the National Police Service Campus in Nyeri county.  The incident happened Monday November 18 morning and involved corporal Collins Imoni Onyando. He blew his head near the residence of the college commandant. The motive of the incident is yet to be known, police said. A man killed his wife before dying by suicide in Karinde area, Kiambu County. The man spared their one year old child who was found playing next to the decomposing body of the mother long after the incident had happened on Sunday November 17.
