Canada Wednesday issued a travel advisory warning to its citizens travelling to Kenya. In the alert, Canada warned its citizens to avoid four areas in the country, including four estates in Nairobi County. Nairobi County, Canada advises its citizens to avoid; Eastleigh, Kibera, Mathare and Pangani. The other areas are Turkana, Marsabit, Tana River, Kilifi, Mandera, Wajir, Garissa and Lamu counties. A delegation from Haiti arrived in Nairobi on a fact-finding mission about the preparation of Kenyan police to be deployed to the Caribbean nation. Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) Wednesday intercepted a truck transporting liquor estimated to be worth Sh3.2 million. KRA officers while on patrol got information that there was a truck moving from Kimana town towards Loitoktok and was suspected to be transporting illicit liquor. KRA officers laid an ambush and intercepted the truck at Kimama Market. The truck was found carrying alcoholic drinks marked Everest Vodka. Tesla is recalling more than two million cars after the US regulator found its driver assistance system, Autopilot, was partly defective. It follows a two year investigation into crashes which occurred when the tech was in use. The recall applies to almost every Tesla sold in the US since the Autopilot feature was launched in 2015. President William Ruto, who chaired the Cabinet meeting on Wednesday, said frequent power outages were hurting Kenya’s investment profile.
