Police are investigating the murder of a man whose body was found in a tea plantation in Tigoni, Kiambu County. The victim was identified as Brian Angasha and his body was discovered in Karambaini tea plantation with deep cuts on his head. Police who visited the August 13 scene said a fork jembe believed to be the murder weapon was recovered beside the body and kept as an exhibit. The motive of the incident is yet to be established. A crew with Citizen Tv was Tuesday afternoon attacked and robbed as they were on duty in Kibera slums. The three staff members were shooting in Lindi area when they were attacked by three gunmen who robbed them of their five mobile phones, two cameras and other valuables. A Kenya Defence Forces junior officer was trampled by an elephant at a military training camp in Isiolo County. The incident happened when a herd of elephants raided there and trampled an officer. Officials added the incident happened at the School of Artillery camp in Kainuk area on Tuesday morning. The identity of one of the gunman who shot and killed a DCI officer in Kayole area, Nairobi has been revealed. The suspect was one of the main suspects behind the cold-blooded murder of the detective with the Directorate of Criminal Investigation and has been identified as Alex Wanjiru, 23. Police are interviewing at least seven suspects in connection with the murder of a detective last week in Mihango, Kayole, Nairobi. The seven include a prime suspect who police say was riding a get a way motorcycle that was used from the scene on  August 8. At least three drug mules were arrested and 25 sacks of bhang were recovered in a police operation in Ngara area, Nairobi. The raid was staged Tuesday morning by a team of officers from a transnational organized crime unit that raided a store at Kariowa slums Ngara area owned by a known drug trafficker. Transport company, Easy Coach, has lifted a ban on the transportation of fish on its buses. The Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority (EPRA) has clarified that the government has not reinstated fuel subsidies. EPRA director general Daniel Kiptoo on Tuesday said the government has instead reverted to fuel stabilization through the Petroleum Development Levy (PDL). This then means that for every litre of petrol a motorist purchases, a fraction goes to the PDL for stabilization. Four men were on Monday night killed by unknown assailants in a village in Gatundu North, Kiambu County. Police said the incident happened in Gacugi village in Ngorongo.
