Two decomposing bodies were on Sunday morning found at Tsavo National Park just a day after four others were collected from the same place. A report by the local authorities indicates that the victims were tortured before they were killed. A patient exhibiting coronavirus-like symptoms has been admitted to Coast General Hospital private room in Mombasa. The patient, a medical student from Southern Medical University in Guangzhou, China, had reportedly flown into the country on Thursday. The Kenya Railways Corporation (KRC), has notified Neno Evangelism proprietor, pastor James Ng’ang’a, of plans to reclaim the land occupied by the main church in Nairobi. In a notice dated Friday, January 31, the Kenya Railways indicated that the land belonging to the corporation was illegally acquired. The property occupied by the church, plot LR. Impeached Kiambu Governor Ferdinand Waititu has been dealt a blow after the High Court declined to issue orders stopping the planned swearing-in of Deputy Governor James Nyoro as County boss. National carrier Kenya Airways has suspended flights to China following the outbreak of coronavirus. In a statement on Friday morning, KQ stated that the indefinite suspension of all flights to and from Guangzhou is effective Friday, January 31, 2019. There was a bomb scare at Doctors Park in Parklands, Nairobi, on Thursday afternoon after a note was left in one of the buildings near Aga Khan hospital. Nairobi Area Police boss Philip Ndolo confirmed that bomb experts have been deployed and are currently combing the area. Officers from the Anti-terror Police Unit (ATPU) are also on the ground. Thirdway Alliance Kenya has suspended its Secretary-General Fredrick Okango over a recent statement on the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) that was disowned by the party leader Ekuru Aukot. A German national was on Wednesday morning found dead in his hotel room in Malindi, Kilifi County. The body of Herman Detering, 75, was found lying on the floor near his bed and covered with blood-stained sheets in his room at Moriema Cottages. It had deep cuts. Detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) have arrested two prison officers for allegedly killing an inmate at Naivasha Maximum Security Prison. The two, Sergeant Dennis Wandati Masibo and Constable Obadiah Meriti Lansika alias Masai were arrested following the completion of an inquest into the death of Simon Nduro Gitahi.
