Police reports indicate that Dennis Waithera stabbed Michael Mukami aged 21 after an argument over who was to pay for fare after a motorbike ride. The Ministry of Health has announced 69 new cases of Covid-19 from a sample size of 1,414 tested in the last 24 hours. In a statement to newsrooms on Sunday, Health Cabinet Secretary Mutahi Kagwe said total confirmed positive cases are now 248,461 and cumulative tests so far conducted stand at 2,534,881. A female traffic police officer died on Sunday morning while in an operation to rescue victims of a road accident on the Nairobi-Mombasa Highway. The United Nations World Food Programme has announced plans to cut food rations for 440,000 refugees in Kenya citing severe funding shortfalls. In a statement to newsrooms, the world’s largest humanitarian agency warned that it may be forced to halt the aid altogether by the end of the year if it doesn’t get new resources soon. Communication and Digital Strategist Dennis Itumbi has announced plans to appeal a decision by a Milimani Court to put him on his defence for spreading information alleging a plot to assassinate Deputy President William Ruto.
