Detectives are investigating an incident where a 14-year-old boy was found murdered in their house following a robbery incident in Obama area, Kayole, Nairobi.

The gang stole a 43 inch television set that was mounted on the wall in the November 29, 2025 incident.

The murder incident took place on the second floor of a house where the boy stayed with the family. He was the only one who was at home then and was playing outside when the suspected assailants called him and led him to the house, witnesses said.

While in the house, they hit him in the head using a blunt object, tied his neck using a piece of cloth ad tied his both hands with a black cable.

The lifeless body of the boy was found lying partly on a wooden bed long after the murder incident, police said.

The motive of the murder was not immediately known. The body was moved to the mortuary pending an autopsy and other procedures.

Police said they are hunting for the suspects in the murder.

In Rangwe, Homa Bay County, one Alfred Ouma, 38 was stabbed and killed in a domestic fight in Kotieno village.

The assailant also stabbed and seriously injured a 64-year-old woman in the drama. The suspect was also injured and taken to a hospital where the deceased was pronounced dead. The injured woman was also admitted at the Rangwe Sub County Hospital.

Police said the suspect escaped from the hospital on learning Ouma had succumbed to the injuries. He was however traced and arrested from a hideout with his injuries.

The body of the deceased was moved to the mortuary pending an autopsy and other procedures.

Police said they are waiting for the suspected assailant to recover from the injuries before taking further action following the November 30 incident.
