Kassaine, police believe has crucial information that could help the case. He was arrested on Saturday after detectives recovered the pistol that the prime suspect Joe Irungu aka Jowie used to shoot himself on the night he is said to have killed Ms Kimani.

Police found the pistol with 50 bullets.

The other suspects; Jacque Maribe and her fiance Jowie are also in custody with Maribe being held for 11 days at Gigiri Police Station while the other spends time at Muthaiga police station.
