“DP Ruto is Openly Sabotaging President Uhuru’s War on Corruption” – State House

President Uhuru believes that his Deputy, William Ruto, is openly sabotaging his war on corruption.

According to a source which travelled with the President to China, Uhuru was taken aback when DP Ruto mentioned him as a donor in the Kajiado goat auction despite the President not giving the deputy any money to give.

Apart from that, President Uhuru’s Big 4 agenda has now been ditched as the head of state was advised by his closest advisers that focus on Big 4 without fighting corruption is like fighting to leave no legacy at all.

Key lieutenants of President Uhuru have advised him that DP Ruto’s associates have strategically placed themselves within the government and ready to win tenders for various services which will be required in the Big 4 developments.

While many have advised DP Ruto to stop making huge donations in various public fora, the senior government official has continued with his kuranda randa. Uhuru now believes that Ruto’s determination to continue with the huge donations is his way of rebelling against the anti-corruption crusade and encouraging his lieutenants to also not bow down.

Many in the camp of the Deputy President believes that the real target in the not so serious anti-corruption war is the Deputy President. They believe that key strategists within State House and Office of the President are determined to make sure that Deputy President Ruto doesn’t succeed Uhuru as President.

During the Kajiado goat auction, it was not lost to observers that Deputy President Ruto was literally begging senior government officials to contribute hundreds of thousands in the event. The DP had to mention his entourage by name to have them at least announce some contribution for the goat purchase.

Deputy President donated Ksh 5 million while also announcing the Ksh 5 million was from President Uhuru Kenyatta, something which has reportedly angered President Uhuru and his inner circle.
