    County Education Director Caught Bribing IEBC Official

    IEBC OFFICIALS KICK START VOTER VERIFICATION EXERCISE

    Laikipia county director of Education, Salesa Adano who was implicated in an attempt to rig the elections by bribing an IEBC official for Saku constituency, Justus Nzomo, has been released on a Sh200, 000 bond by a magistrate.

    He appeared before Isiolo Chief Magistrate Samuel Mungai and was charged with attempting to bribe Nzomo.

    Adano was seeking to influence the appointment of presiding officers for the General Elections.

     

    The case will be mentioned on August 7 and hearing is set for September 13.
