    Equity Bank Hawks And KPA Basketball Ladies Represent Kenya In The Africa Champions Cup

    EquityReigning zone Five basketball champions Kenya Ports Authorities and Equity Bank Hawks will represent Kenya in this years FIBA women’s Champions cup. The team left  today morning for  the ten day tournament that will be held in Luanda ,Angola.

    Both coaches exuded confidence saying that they were prepared to take on Africa’s finest. KPA  Team manager Christopher Ogutu said that the squad is well prepared and will feature Kenyas finest point guard Natalie Akinyi who will be strongly backed by Bettie Kananu and Selina Okumu.

    The squad has been beefed up by Lucy Machuma  and Beryl Akoth.Equity Banks also has an array of Kenyan stars lined up which be lead by Samba Mjomba who will be backed by Hildah Indasi and Mercy Wanyama.

    They will be facing reigning Africa champions interclube and  of course the star studded Mozambican side Ferroviario.

    The two teams are came first and second Zone five club championships that were held in Kampala Uganda.
