Equity Bank’s Systems Down for 2 Days and Nobody Cares to Say WHY

Equity bank is the largest bank in Kenya and I think the EA region. The bank handles more clients than you can ever think of. That is why it is very bad for the economy of this country when the bank has its systems down for the last two days and nobody cares to explain why.

Clients cannot make transfers not check the actual account balance for the same period. The ATM network seems also to be down according to many clients of the bank. Trying to get to Alex Muhia who is the General Manager in charge of Communications is like getting to Jesus Christ. The guy has a wall around him. He is also not picking up his calls and his clients are really suffering.

It would be good for Equity Bank to come out and tell us what is happening for the last two days. Anything worth worrying about they wont say because Banks just rely on the goodwill but some reassurance will do.
